When the commotion comes, sit.
When you feel trapped, breathe.
When it is not good, do not make it worse.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Like a tree, get grounded.
And reach for the light.
Like a tree, get spacious.
And gather as many wings as you can.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Do not be afraid to root and reach.
Whatever you are facing, plant yourself.
Here. Now.
May this—whatever this is—serve to help you grow.
May every strategy you try have love and hope in it.
May you come to understand what hurts.
May you come to understand what heals.
May you let go of that which makes you small and afraid.
Inhale.
Exhale.
May you soften.
May you see what you do and who you are with great tenderness and kindness.
May you embrace the pain as if you were comforting a child.
May you find what shines—in yourself and in others.
Then, may you let it all go, just for this breath in. For this breath out.
Remember, you will blossom. If not this season, then the next.
Be still.
Breathe.
It might take some time.
But can you plant the positive seeds?
Can you look for the good and expect the incredible?
If so, everything beautiful is on its way.
